After an unprecedented number of "most peaceful" protests in 2020 and 2021, the brass in the pond believe the problem in crowd control management was a unique culmination of compounded evens without considering they repeatedly placed the rank and file into unwinnable scenarios and then, blaming officers for the outcomes.
US Politics. You guys were wielded as a national political tool, rather than your intended role as public safety of a single city, and the entire system is still dealing with the consequences of that political play.
For the damage it caused, I really hope the play was worth it. It sure was costly. A city's safety was sacrificed.
Even politicians should be aware of what shouldn't be sacrificed. And after, nobody seems keen on replacing or repairing what they broke...just annoying that those "responsible" lack a sense of duty to at least fix a borrowed tool that they damaged.
Anyway, I wish you luck. I remain hopeful that this blog will one day be bright and cheery.
And PS: when you publish, I intend to buy a copy. You got a lot here, really should think about a printed book.
