2) The Fleet Manager for the department tried to convince other on the RD model of patrol car operations. If you assign a car to an officer, the officer has an interest in taking care of the car. I have the oldest car in the fleet and it is the cleanest, best stocked, and best running.
3) Dog and Beth like running wrecked UCs since no one thinks it is police car until it is too late and more damage with only add to the character to the car.
4) The Fetty Z is the primary focus of the city. OT and missions are authorized.
5) My LT called me up and asked about issuing Narcan to non-sworn. Working in the Fetty Z, I use it more than my coworkers. I agree with her philosophy. Training the non-sworns is fine, but the danger of using it on the street is too great.
6) My LT also wants to jump in the car with me for half a shift. She wants to see how the streets actually run. She knows I have no filter and am not afraid of having her in the car with me. I think it is a great idea. One cannot lead from the office. I hope to take her to a few ODs and perhaps involve her in a use of force.
7) A handful of malcontents threw a temper tantrum in the lobby of the precinct. When I waded into them, they decided to leave instead of facing the consequences.
