New Cars

 

The 66 new Ford FIUs the city purchased have yet to be sent to the precincts.

Our MDTS are from 2004. The city can no longer purchase them from the company, so Fleet Services take the tablets from 2013 and 2015 FIUs and the handful of Impalas set to be retired. The Vic is being kept until I retire. 

Then, the fuel sensors do not recognize the city fuel pumps. The department purchased the wrong ones. It is a $1000 per unit mistake. The city is looking for individual key sensors for each unit, but since cars are not assigned to officers, the keys are expected to disappear.
