To break the barrier on the traumatic incident barrier, an officer must go to three dead body calls and/ or child abuse calls. Additionally, they must be the first 3 officers to arrive.
Calls involving subjects shot or stabbed do not count. Amputations, accidental or deliberate do not count. Occupants mangled in a motor vehicle accident do not count. Violent fights with suspects leaving officers injured do not count.
The metric only tracks a silver of what is meaningful.
