Traumatic Incident Threshold

 

To break the barrier on the traumatic incident barrier, an officer must go to three dead body calls and/ or child abuse calls. Additionally, they must be the first 3 officers to arrive. 

Calls involving subjects shot or stabbed do not count. Amputations, accidental or deliberate do not count. Occupants mangled in a motor vehicle accident do not count. Violent fights with suspects leaving officers injured do not count. 

The metric only tracks a silver of what is meaningful.

Off 19th, I came back from a prem check for an alarm to the driver’s side rear tire of the Vic slashed.

 

 

Thresholds

 

Per the Sgt, I broke the traumatic incident threshold last month and now I am on the Early Warning System for something other than use of force.

 

 

 

 

Flag Burning

 

 

Over the weekend, Antifa pulled off the US flag over the front doors of the Precinct and burned it. The flag had only been there for two months. Antifa burned the previous flag last summer.

 

 

 

Fatals

 

I was told at coffee, and then verified the stat, the city now has 51 fatal crashes.
