Writing a stolen in front of the precinct, a woman and her daughter came up to my prowler. They were from a smaller town out of state. The daughter had just landed for first job out of college downtown in the pond. They were scouting out the town.
The mother asked, "What happened to this city? It looks like a war zone."
She said, "You could tell it was once a beautiful city. There is trash and homeless camps everywhere. Why does the city let it be this way?"
Sounds like your calls are even more intense than usual these days. Look after yourself.
