A call from a sergeant woke me up this morning. The precinct is rebidding for shifts and days off. I am third in seniority, so it can't wait. 

I responded I am retaining my shift and days and went back to sleep.

47 and Out

 

After 47 consecutive days of riots and protests, I have made it my summer vacation. 

As few house keeping notes, the new precinct commander was in place for a month before being promoted to AC. 

My protest partner, Snake Charmer, and I took 42 calls tonight. We were the only car available in the precinct for hours tonight.

I put in a transfer for the east side to take Straight Pipe's old district. It is time for a change.

 

 

Day 42: Make No Mistake

 

In the pond, the current nightly attacks on government building and the periodic destruction and looting have nothing to do with racial inequities, but rather an anarchist led neo-Marxist attempt at insurrection.
