I'm holding her down by her right arm.
She screams from from her feral heart,
rent from pain, as two officers apply
a tourniquet above the remaining
four inches of her other arm.
She had reached under a passing
freight train to grab a dropped bag.
We all left marked with her blood.
It is a wonder to me she didn't bleed out before you could help.

No words. 😢
I hope you are ok RD, and that she recovers knowing you all saved her life.

@RD and @Fritz, that was a F'd up call. Listening to the radio, RD - your wingman really sounded rattled by it. Hope they (and everyone on the call) are alright.

RD,
YOu are what I want and expect as a police man.
My expectations are high but you sir.
You are a person of good will.
I wish to God there was a medal for some of the things you do.
and that those medals are not in sight of the media but your family and those you work with.
One day maybe I can change that.
Maybe I can.
Sincerely,
Edwin Bahten
You Deserve recognition of your mission
and the mission is never ending
