I like it. Organic. Does this reflect common city maintenance?

@ Ralph,
The city only repairs structures that are broken or are replaced by a large development project. This leaves delightful reminders of what once was: macadam streets, tracks for ancient rail lines, rings to tie your horse to in the sidewalks, metal trolley bumpers on curbs, glass grates in sidewalks, shanghai tunnels.
