One: Did several days worth of yard work at home and at my mother-in-law's beach house.
Two: Helped cleaned and prep the house for an exchange student, including assembling half a room of IKEA furniture.
Three: Celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.
Four: Spent two separate weeks at the beach. On ten of those days, I assisted my daughter and sister in law by standing waist deep in the waves, so they could safely boogie board in a viscous rip tide. On one day, a whale was spouting 100 feet away from us. A seal lion swam within 20 feet on another day. The surf pulled my off my feet and tumbled me under the water only one time.
Five: Made three hikes: One past two waterfalls, one in a new state park along an estuary, and the third featuring a four foot wide trail next to a 900 foot cliff above the ocean.
Six: Regularly parented.
Seven: Sanded, Stained and sealed my my front steps.
Eight: Painted the side door and the trim on the porch.
Nine: Started working in the back steps.
Ten: Watched a snake eat a frog
Eleven: Welcomed the exchange student
Twelve: Helped plan, set up, make props, and successfully execute a three day event with my club.
Thirteen: Helped register my youngest and the exchange student in school.
Fourteen: Maintained a gym schedule and regularly worked out with my youngest.
