Days off department wide are cancelled for protests on November 4th and 5th. 

 

 

Court

 

Today, I was ssubponeaed for court on a multi-day DV.

Instead of waiting from 0815 not to testify,

the DA scheduled me for 1230.

She still did not need me today.

She will call to tell me when she needs me for tomorrow.

I suggested after noon, so I can sleep

and still will have missed none of the trial.

Department News

 

Per the AC.

 

1. Crime is up.

 

2. The Number of officers per population is even lower than before.

 

3. Despite dozens of hires, the department is still down 37 positions.

 

4.The department will be asking the city to hire 50 officers over our allotted amount .

 

5.The retire-rehire program has been suspended.

 

6. At this point, we have 600 patrol positions. 100 of those positions are trainees.
