Vacation

 

 

 

The water is 52 degrees .

The temp has yet to break 70.

My daughters boogie board:

In the sun and fog, clouds and cold wind

There is no rip tide this year.

I stand thigh deep and watch 

for logs and Dungeness crabs,

timing the good waves.

I can take the cold for an hour,

a little more if the waves

are tasty and begging to be ridden.
