Numbers: Man Power

 


Despite having over 900 officers, our department

has 370 patrol officers for the three precincts.

Sounds about normal. Let me guess: A lot of full-time specialized units of questionable utility?

I would like to see a breakdown of the numbers of sergeants, detectives, criminalistics, etc..........
