The Wagon is the county van that responds to the report of intoxicated subjects who are unable to care for themselves. The crew of the Wagon, deputized emergency technicians, assist police in evaluating and transporting hard core street drunks to the county's sobering station.
Usage:
Officer One: "Jack was passed out, covered in piss, so I had the Wagon transport him to Detox."
Officer Two: "Good Call."
It strikes me as grimly amusing that transporting incapacitated intoxicated persons keeps a crew and vehicle occupied. I have to wonder whether the Wagon and the Sobering Station are overmatched - or if they actually effect change.
