Dear RD,
Oh, yes. I have called in homeless people screaming for shelter in the cold or looking like heatstroke victim. In each case, the shelter van recommended police--once for screaming/possible violence, and once for medical assistance/assessment (?).

You do it all. Thank you very much.
No stink eye here. BTW, how's that medical assessment degree coming along? In your spare time, right?

I think the wagon must be a God-send for patrol officers. Where I worked, the PD and the ambulance folks would have a running feud on who would transport folks in that condition.

I am thinking the wagon employees would be a place of high-turnover though.
