The judge was calling the docket.
When he reached the name of a violator,
the man stood up and said,
"I'm guilty.
You might as well convict me.
Put the fine on my tab!"
Then, he walked out.
"That will be a Fail to Appear:
Maximum Bail, $786."
Then, he returned to the docket.
He could have played the Contempt card too.

Nobody else would have that big a fool for a client.
Failure to bring proper legal representation, priceless!
BTW, what was the maximum fine he would have faced if he hadn't behaved like an idiot?

The judge could have thrown the man in jail for contempt. Some judges would have.
I am not sure what the original charge was, but I am guessing it was the $242 variety.
