I sometimes think indicator lights are for decorative purposes only.

I thought you only used the little blinky yellow lights for when you cross three or more lanes!

I use my blinkers all the time. In fact my kids laugh at me because I even use them pulling out of the driveway. But then they also laugh at me because I drive the speed limit. (dang kids)
