I've written a plenty tickets of tickets. I don't need to write any more, but if you are on your cell phone, and you commit a driving violation, you're getting a ticket: No warnings, no lectures, no scolding. A simple explanation is in order and nothing more.
I stopped you for running that red light while you were on your cell phone.
Take their license. Go back to your car. Write the ticket. Hand it to them.
Please drive safely.
Kill the lights and clear. Leave them to their own conclusions.
State Law has changed. As of 01/01/10, it is unlawful to use a cell phone while driving unless the driver is employing a hands free device.
