I had the most delicious cup of coffee last week.
It was hot, so hot, but not burning. Dark, but not
bitter, it was just so perfect. I was out for breakfast
by myself, on my way to a massage at a spa.
Yes, a spa. Alone. For a massage.
We have begun the transition, I think, from all out
sprint to long term lope. The urgency that has gripped
us since Sweet G's diagnosis and hospitalization is
transforming into a slower, careful rebuilding of life.
The framework is in place, and the major supports
are in play and can bear weight. She is still in a partial
hospitalization situation, but we can see that next
new road up on the horizon, when she is able to return
to school. It will happen, and we are almost ready.
