Great Googili Moogili... it is CHRISTMAS VACATION!
Whoo-hoo!
Today the the First Graders chose their fabrics for their quilt drawings. Oh there are going to be some WILD animals out there, let me tell you.
The funniest bit of working in class today was when I asked a little boy to send Little e out to choose her fabrics.
"But wait. Little e is your Little e." he said, full of knowing.
"Yes, she is." I said quietly, like I was sneaking something.
He gave me a huge smile, and we were school project conspirators.
First graders are so much fun.
Now the school projects are put to bed until school starts again in January.
Our Christmas tree is up, and the decorations are almost all on the tree. The Christmas cards are half done, and Big E has said he'd write the family letter. (score!) And, the letters to Santa have been written.
Oh, yes! Things are starting to come together!
