Oh man, that first wandering tendril of coffee aroma that sneaks from my little espresso maker thrills my soul. My heart goes pitter pat, and I think that just maybe this will be a fantastic day. Oh good coffee is powerful ally in positive thinking.
Yesterday was the first day of the Llewellyn Holiday Market, and it was S L O W. Happily the vibe at the market was great. And, I had a fabulous trade with another artist. After the market, Big E and I went out for a date night dinner. We had amazing clams followed by the most wonderful pizza with mascarpone, homemade pancetta, pear, olive oil, and arugula at Tastebud Farm.
So. I've had my coffee, and a little breakfast smackeral in what has been a quiet, relaxing morning without the picante influence of my children (they are with Big E's folks for the weekend). I have my fingers crossed for a busy, bustling, profitable day... although I'm flexible as to whether that profit comes from sales or trades.
All of this makes me think of future projects, and the avalanche of cleaning that will bury me in this next week. Ignoring the need for clean for a moment, gaze upon these..
These are my latest purchase from FIX, and I have such ideas for them. I want to make more barrettes, and all sorts of other gifty things. Big E even said he would participate in some of my plans. Whoo-hoo family craft day with be ours!
(In keeping with the new disclosure polices for blogs, I purchased these felt lovelies. I have not been compensated for my views of adoration.)
