Little e has been experimenting with her fashion flair. Subtle, it is not. This was her morning creation. It was followed by a layered pant/dress combo that would have made Big E's eyes water, if he hadn't been dozing.
I had forgotten how much broken sleep slows me down. When the girls were little, I existed for 5 years in that perennial state of sleep deprivation which occurs when you only sleep in 3 hours increments. The laws of time and space seemed to effect me differently, and even simple tasks had no end. With Big E's illness, I have again returned to that twilight zone of productivity. Everything takes three times as long as I think it should, and twice as long as it normally does. My brain seems to have more trouble with 8 hours of sleep gained in 2 hour increments, than it does with 6 hours of continuous sleep. Still, I did sit down to sew last night (and stayed up way too late). It felt good to finish a stack of fans last night.
Big E is no worse, and may be a bit better. His breathing is still labored, and his sweats continue to discomfort him, but the intense body aches and chills have ceased.
