Things I learned at Camporee
1. Wooly Bear or Fuzzy Wuzzys cause infinite distractions among 7-8 year old girls.
2. My super powers include Wooly Bear detection. (Wait! Is that a caterpillar in your hand?! Put it down!)
3. It is possible to have too many Ladybugs.
4. I crave direction in my life. (Not religious, but "this is what we do now" direction.)
5. Casting on, knitting, tearing out can be a very relaxing past time. (I was teaching myself to knit in the round on two circular needles from a video tutorial I watched a month ago.)
6. I have supernatural speed and hearing when vomit is involved.
7. When I talk, people DO hear me. (Sometimes I wonder about this at home, but it became evident in the Wilds of Girlscout Camp that Sweetheart G and her friends do actually listen to me at times.)
8. The best threat is a nap. (We don't have to do this, we could go take naps.)
9. Cafeteria food has not gotten any better.
10. I love my bed and not sleeping in a 14' by 8' room with 6 people.
11. Girl Scout Camp is a lot cooler than I thought it would be.
