Reunited with my sewing machine, I have been trying to catch up on some long neglected projects. I am participating in a summer fair in August, and I have to get some bags made for my table. So here goes round one of the assembly process. That bag I made a couple of months ago is the only brocade bag I've made in.. gosh.. almost 6 months. I had forgotten how the fluff from the fabric makes my nose itch, the fibers float everywhere, how it shifts, and.. how lovely it looks when I get it done. Polyester brocade is a difficult mistress. But, she is machine washable. Next I am going to make some little totes with the left over striped border from the elephant quilt.
