While I was out blogging one sunny day, I happened upon Super Eggplant. And this is what I made:
She had a recipe for dengaku, a miso paste which is brushed on top of a food and grilled. So I went into sodium overload and made roasted eggplant, tilapia, coho salmon, and chicken dengaku.
Then, I made rice balls (with and without pickled plums in the center) and put the miso paste on them, too.
It was all good, but the broiled rice balls, salmon, and chicken were the tastiest. The eggplant was good, but I brushed on the miso too heavily.
Thank you, Super Eggplant!
