While my sewing room is put away, I am working on my first knitted sock! I love this yarn from Yarnchef on Etsy. It is handpainted fingerling weight yarn that feels so lovely to my cracked, dry hands..
I can't tell you how dangerous this yarn is. I own a second skein done in reds and warm tones. I am trying to finish this sock before I buy anymore yarn.. so difficult... so tempting.. Of course, now I have to love making socks, so I can buy more yarn. Isn't that how it works?!
This is a fingerless glove I finished last week. It is part of a kit my friend Kirsten made up. I love the wild colors, and it feels so soft.
Yes, it is May. Yes it is 60 degrees, and Yes, I am making wool socks and gloves. The second glove is finished... well it hasn't been sewn together, but... well.. I'll get to it before I actually need gloves, right?
