Robert was speeding, took the turn
too fast, lost control, left the road,
put his car through a street lamp,
and center punched a street sign
on the other side. It stopped
his movement before he hit
the tree. The twenty foot light pole
landed on his roof and crushed his car.
He walked away with out a scratch.
He called his friends, told 'em
he'd been in an accident.
They told him to run.
He said, "I'm not like that."
He waited and accepted
the consequences of his actions.
