Tonight, I was fitted for the new uniforms. The material is thin and prickly. I went with the poly-wool blend.

invest in a comfy t-shirt. i prefer the form fitting synthetic starter t-shirts from walmart. $10 each. can't beat 'em. old navy is a good place too as well as tj max.
what color are your uniforms?

@Tom,
The new uniforms are midnight blue. They look almost black.
I always wear a t-shirt under the uniform shirt, but last night I tried on the long sleeved shirt. The material was irritating to my uncovered fore-arms. If I wear the long-sleeved shirt, I am going to have to wear a long-sleeved shirt under it.
Cheers,
RD

Maybe after a few washes it'll be better. Anything's better than holey years-old uniforms I suppose.

One officer commented that they seem to be costume grade and not real uniforms.
