En route to a ‘Man Down and Unchecked’ call,
I watched two hipsters stroll down the sidewalk.
One had his head turned, focused
on hucking pine cones at his friend
at point, blank range.
The barrage was a success
until the attacker walked, head first,
into the pole of a street sign.
