Once upon a time there lived a woman in a big red barn in the Pacific Northwest... she had two sweet and silly monkeys...
("No! No! We're your children! Monkeys throw poo! We're girls!")
Okay, she was the mother of two girls and the wife of a mighty, model painting guy. She was always working on a project, or two (try three or four) to keep her little heart happy and her mind sane.
Because, you see, at the end of the day, no matter how many clothes have been washed, or chores have been done, there are always more tomorrow... But, a seam sewn, or a row knitted, or a project (gasp) completed stays to mark another fine day. (Okay, okay, somedays are do-overs regardless, but you get the point! Let me have my little delusions) These are the good bits that make the day worthwhile, 'cause the bad stuff tends to overwhelm otherwise.
If you want to e-mail me.. go ahead. It's marsbarn(at)comcast(dot)net.
Handwork, quilting, crafting, picking up new projects, baking and cooking, avoiding therapy by making things... oh, and I make my own marshmallows... Flaming Peep anyone?
